Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team on a construction site at the University of Nottingham. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site cleanliness, supporting general labouring duties, and ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labouring tasks across the site
- Keep the site clean, tidy, and free from hazards
- Assist tradespeople and site supervisors as required
- Move and handle materials safely
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Must be reliable and committed to daily attendance
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- CSCS card preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, standard site hours (exact times to be confirmed)
