Daniel Owen is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor carrying out legal repairs on social housing properties within Nottingham. We are seeking experienced and professional Multi-Trade Operatives to join the team, working in a customer-facing role within occupied residential properties.

This is not your average construction role - our client places strong emphasis on quality, customer service, and professionalism. You'll be a key part of ensuring that customers receive the highest standard of service in their homes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in their homes

  • Carrying out a variety of remedial works to a high standard

  • Diagnosing and fixing issues directly or coordinating with the office and specialist trades

  • Ensuring work is completed promptly, professionally, and with minimal disruption

  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment

  • Representing the company with courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism at all times

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a multi-trade role or general construction

  • Strong background in one or more of the following:

    • General building

    • Carpentry

    • Plaster patching

    • Painting

    • Ceramic tiling

    • Heating & plumbing (desirable but not essential)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Able to problem-solve and work independently

  • Reliable, well-presented, and respectful when working in occupied homes
