We have a new job vacancy with a growing firm of modern, independent Accountants based in Hucknall.

The firm are growing quickly in workload and require someone additional to work as part of a small, good humoured and happy work force. They are looking to recruit a Payroll/Bookkeeping professional to join their team.

The role will be split between bookkeeping and payroll, but the specifics of this can be worked out for the right candidate.

The firm mainly have office-based working and use IT systems including IRIS, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero. Any prior experience of using this software will be advantageous.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing VAT returns
  • Processing payrolls and liaising with HMRC.
  • Dealing with client queries via telephone and emails, P11Ds
  • Pension Enrolment
  • Calculating statutory payments
