We’re recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a successful and expanding business based in Nottinghamshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of payroll while also gaining exposure to wider areas of finance — all within a supportive, down-to-earth team.

The company operates across multiple UK sites and has exciting international plans, offering long-term opportunity for those ready to grow.

  • Manage payroll for 300 employees – from start to finish

  • Handle pensions, PAYE, NI, and all related queries with confidence

  • Liaise closely with HR on contracts, new starters, and benefit changes

  • Provide clear, accurate answers to payroll questions from staff

  • Take part in potential systems upgrades and streamlining projects

  • Support the wider finance team on AP/AR and accounting tasks when time allow

What We’re Looking For:
  • Solid experience in a payroll-focused role

  • Strong knowledge of pensions and payroll tax legislation

  • Comfortable using Excel

  • ADP experience is desirable, but not essential

  • Someone who is happy to take ownership, answer questions, and roll up their sleeves

  • Ambition to develop further into wider accounts work over time
