Gas Engineer - Repairs & Maintenance
Location: Nottingham (covering various sites)
Pay Rate: 25.00 per hour (Company Van & Fuel Card Provided)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (12-week self-employed period)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
We're currently seeking experienced Gas Engineers to join a reputable Repairs and Maintenance Contractor operating across residential and commercial properties in the Nottingham area. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work with the potential to go permanent after 12 weeks.
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out gas isolations, recommissions, and associated works
Ensure all works comply with current safety regulations and quality standards
Complete accurate documentation and maintain service records
Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
Requirements:
Valid Gas Safe registration and relevant ACS qualifications (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1)
Proven experience in gas isolations and recommissions
Own tools and transport preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
