We are supporting a Primary Academy that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This is a full-time, fixed-term role where you will play a vital part in supporting our pupils' learning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner

  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 3)

  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management

  • Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their education.
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively as part of a team.
