The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Location: Long Eaton

Hours: Early Shift; 06.00 - 14.30 Monday to Thursday, and 06.00 - 10.30 on Fridays

Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Role: Permanent

Pay: up to 34500

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays

Holidays/Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, after every 5 years' service an extra day holiday up to a max of 4 days, annual pay rises negotiated yearly, pension, modern work environment, free parking, uniform.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect machined and fabricated components with hand help measuring tools associated within a precision engineering environment.

Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high-end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate / Quality inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
  • Competent at reading engineering drawings
  • Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers etc.

Commutable from: Derby, Burton, Nottingham and surrounding areas
