About the Role
Overview
A well-established commercial interiors and workplace solutions business based in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of projects across a range of sectors, including office, retail, education and industrial environments.
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for site delivery, including programme management, cost control and quality
- Plan and coordinate works from project initiation through to completion
- Organise and manage contractors and subcontractors
- Issue, manage and maintain programmes of works
- Place material orders and manage project finances
- Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, ensuring objectives and expectations are met
- Monitor on-site progress and maintain close communication with site teams
- Ensure all works comply with building regulations and health & safety legislation
- Provide regular progress updates to clients in line with established reporting procedures
- Report project performance and updates to line management
- Candidates must be located within approximately one hour's commute of the Nottingham office.
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong planning, organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proven problem-solving capability
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, typically valued between 10k and 700k
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is advantageous
- Strong client and stakeholder relationship management skills
