About the Role

Our client is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to join their team and support the delivery of an exciting decarbonisation programme. You'll be reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the wider Commercial team.

In this role, you'll manage contractor accounts, help with regular reporting (including to DESNZ), and provide commercial insights to keep things running efficiently and cost-effectively. You'll also play a key part in budget management, reviewing payment applications, and preparing reports for senior leadership.

You'll be working with a range of stakeholders-both internal teams and external contractors-to make sure contracts are delivering on performance and financial targets.



What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience in quantity surveying or a commercial role, ideally with a focus on decarbonisation.
  • A background in social housing or housing maintenance (client or contractor side).
  • A good understanding of NHF and other schedule of rate-based contracts.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, and a knack for keeping accurate records.
  • Confidence in writing reports and interpreting financial data, with solid skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
