About the role:
Hays Recruitment are in partnership with a Secondary School located in Nottinghamshire. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students, fostering a love for food technology and encouraging practical skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology for Key Stages 3 and 4.* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.* Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).* Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.* Strong subject knowledge and passion for food technology.* Excellent communication and organisational skills.* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
