Hays Recruitment are in partnership with a Secondary School located in Nottinghamshire. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students, fostering a love for food technology and encouraging practical skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Food Technology for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for food technology.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
