A secondary school in Nottingham is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to join their staff team from September 2025. This is an opportunity to work in a well-supported and forward-thinking school, delivering high-quality computing education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
- Teach Computer Science to students aged 11-16
- Plan and deliver engaging, modern lessons that support student progress
- Contribute to the development of a dynamic and relevant computing curriculum
- Promote digital literacy and problem-solving skills
- Use assessment data effectively to support students of all abilities
- Take part in departmental and whole-school CPD and initiatives
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECT's welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching in a secondary school (KS3 and KS4)
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
- A commitment to supporting all learners and contributing to a positive school culture
