Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Digital Functional Skills Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and experience in delivering functional skills qualifications in Digital Literacy. You will work with small groups, helping students build their skills in areas such as IT, digital communication, and online problem-solving, preparing them for future success in the digital world.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and supportive lessons in Digital Functional Skills (Level 1 & 2).
Assess students' progress and provide tailored feedback and support.
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and preferences.
Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with other staff to track student progress and development.
Requirements:
Experience teaching Functional Skills (Digital Literacy or similar).
A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and empathetic approach to working with young people.
Enhanced DBS check (we can support the process if needed).
