Engagement Worker – NottinghamshireService Care Solutions are currently working with a Substance Misuse Service in Nottinghamshire to recruit an Engagement Worker on a 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team delivering comprehensive, integrated recovery treatment services and making a real difference in people’s lives.The RoleAs directed by the Team Leader and Senior Practitioners, you will play a key role in supporting engagement, assessment, case management and supervision of clients and peer mentors, all within a recovery outcome-focused culture.Pay: Up to £23.00 per hour Umbrella(PAYE rates: £20.54 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, £19.16 per hour exclusive)Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pmContract: 3 months (potential for extension)Main Duties:

Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community
Promote healthier lifestyles and increase service user choice
Support individuals in both abstinence-based and medically assisted recovery
Provide effective case management and coordinate treatment plans
Promote carer and service user involvement
Identify service users interested in service user involvement (SUI) and/or peer mentoring

Requirements:

Experience within substance misuse, recovery, or related support services
Strong communication and engagement skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to recovery-focused and harm-reduction approaches
