We are looking for a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join Nottingham City's Adult Social Care service. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team, delivering high-quality, person-centred interventions that enable people with disabilities to live safely and independently.

You will carry out specialist assessments, deliver tailored rehabilitation plans, and provide equipment and adaptations to meet the needs of individuals with a wide range of conditions. You will also take the lead on complex cases, including manual handling and postural management, ensuring interventions are safe, proportionate, and effective.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering person-centred assessments and support packages.

Recommending and arranging rehabilitation, specialist equipment, and housing adaptations.

Leading on complex casework, including manual handling assessments and risk management.

Undertaking postural management assessments and interventions in community settings.

Working collaboratively with service users, carers, and partner agencies.

Maintaining high-quality, accurate records and producing professional reports.

Promoting independence, wellbeing, and safeguarding principles in all aspects of practice.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Degree/Masters in Occupational Therapy with HCPC registration.

Expertise in complex assessments, equipment, and adaptations.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and risk assessment frameworks.

Strong understanding of community-based practice and postural management.

Excellent communication, report writing, and IT skills (experience with Liquid Logic preferred).

Ability to manage caseloads independently, working effectively under pressure.

Commitment to equality, diversity, and cultural sensitivity in practice.

Working Arrangements

Expectation to attend the office at least once per week.

Must be willing to work flexibly across different bases and travel into Nottingham as required for assessments.
