Your new roleAs part of the dedicated team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to the inmates at HMP Lowdham Grange.Role: Band 6 - Registered Mental Health NursesWorking hours: Shifts negotiable with the serviceStart Date: ASAP - ongoing, rota available until July Key ResponsibilitiesTo conduct thorough mental health assessments of inmates, identifying their mental health needs and writing appropriate care plans.To conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks to individuals and others, including self-harm, suicide, or harm to others, and implementing appropriate risk management strategies.To administer and monitor prescribed medications.To provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, such as self-harm or acute mental health episodes.To succeed in this role, you must meet the following criteria:Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)Hold current prison security clearanceWhat We Offer:Competitive pay rate of £23-£34 PAYE or £25.50-£40/hour UmbrellaFree DBS checkComplimentary Hays branded uniformAccess to free mandatory trainingFree occupational health checkAssistance and advice with revalidationWeekly payments for your convenienceWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
