PHP Developer (Drupal) – Nottingham (Hybrid Remote) -  £45,000Drupal/Laravel/Next.js/Nuxt.js | Microservice Architecture | Test Driven Development | AWS | Training and Development Budget | Flexible Work | 28 days HolidayAda Meher is currently working with a leading agency, with offices in Central Nottingham, who are recruiting for a Full Stack Drupal Developer to work on some of their exciting web builds. The majority of the projects are greenfield in nature, using a best-fit technology approach meaning that projects vary across Drupal or Laravel backends and Typescript React/Next.js or Vue/Nuxt.js based frontends all deployed to AWS based microservices. They hold engineering standards in high regard so if you're looking for a company with an affinity for rigorous testing processes this could suit well. There is no firm requirement for TDD experience, but Unit testing is a must. With an office hub in the centre of Nottingham, they value the sense of collaboration in this space as well as their employee’s autonomy and as such operate a hybrid model requiring a weekly office presence. The client has flexibility and autonomy at the core of their culture, so whilst there is an expectation of an office-based presence they are more than happy to work this around other life commitments to find a solution which suits all.The client also prioritises the development of their staff, with every employee being offered a budget to put towards professional accreditations and training courses to help improve their quality of work. For example, if you’re a Drupal Developer who wants to increase skill with modern frontend frameworks and tech this could be an excellent opportunity. They also offer target-based progression incentives to financially reward hard work and development. The ideal candidate will have both the experience working with in OOP PHP and relevant CMS frameworks, preferably Drupal, and be enthused by the chance to develop solutions to enterprise-scale requirements, using a modern approach incorporating TDD. Given the greenfield nature of the work there is plenty of opportunity for input from all levels on the design of the solution and a real chance for the right person to really make their mark.To be considered:
  • Demonstrable experience of PHP Web Development
  • Demonstrable experience with relevant CMS frameworks (Drupal/Statamic)
  • Experience Developing APIs
  • Experience with Unit Testing/TDD
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML & CSS
  • Knowledge of Typescript and React/Vuejs would be a benefit
The company in question is a market leader not only in the solutions that they provide to their clients internationally but also the technology the work on and the environment they create. They aspire to create a relaxed environment where people can work on forward thinking technology solutions. This PHP Developer (Drupal) role is attracting a high number of applicants at the moment so be sure to get in contact ASAP to avoid missing out.
