The Opportunity
As a Senior Python Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and deploying backend features that power the company's core platforms. Working primarily with Python and Django, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, maintainable solutions that support the business's mission to accelerate the shift to renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using Python and Django
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design, including microservices
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions
- Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Proven commercial experience with Python and Django
- Strong understanding of scalable application design and API development
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native development
- Experience with microservices architecture is highly desirable
- Passion for clean energy and solving complex problems with technology
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with modern delivery practices
