Link3 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in NG19, Nottinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with children with Special Educational Needs, providing targeted support and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Implement individualised learning plans and behaviour strategies
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and interventions tailored to pupils’ needs
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to support learning and development

Requirements

  • Level 2/3 SEN Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEN
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
  • Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and support pupils in a nurturing manner

Safeguarding & Compliance

  • Right to Work: Candidates must demonstrate a valid Right to Work in the UK
  • DBS: Must hold an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one before starting The cost of a DBS will be covered by the applicant
