A specialist Nottingham setting is seeking dedicated, patient and skilled Teaching Assistants to join their team, supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and a range of additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children who require tailored support to thrive.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, you will work with pupils across a range of ages who present with communication differences, sensory needs, and social, emotional and behavioural challenges. The role involves:

  • Providing consistent 1:1 or small-group support

  • Implementing structured routines, visual supports and ASD-friendly approaches

  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Facilitating communication using appropriate methods (e.g., PECS, visuals, AAC)

  • Assisting pupils with accessing learning both inside and outside the classroom

  • Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEND team
