The Supply Register are seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join one of our friendly and supportive primary schools based in Nottingham (NG5) to start from Janaurary on a long term basis 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for ensuring every child reaches their full potential and who can bring significant expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate provision for children with SEND across the school.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need.
  • Ensure safeguarding remains at the heart of all SEND practice.
  • Oversee SEND records, paperwork, and referrals.
  • Support staff with strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has significant experience working with children with SEND.
  • Possesses a strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
  • Ideally has experience with SEND paperwork, referrals, and liaising with outside professionals.
  • SENCO qualification preferred, but experienced applicants without will be considered.
  • Is organised, approachable, and committed to inclusion.
