An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Administrator join my clients highly regarded team in their Nottingham offices on a hybrid basis.

My client is a top national law firm with a rich history, this role is working within their private client team and offers a very competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• preparing tax returns, payments and reports (including timely production of quarterly and annual tax reports)

• Working with clients and internal company departments

• assessing and researching tax issues to identify solutions

• researching, analysing and interpreting changing tax legislation

• identifying tax savings and recommending strategies in relation to the same

• maintaining knowledge of industry trends, tax laws and regulations

• communicating tax implications to clients

• developing strong working relationships with clients, including understanding their business practices and specific tax information needs

• ensuring all financial practices and records comply with accepted accounting standards

• forecasting tax predictions

Skills and experience

• strong business acumen

• analytical and technical expertise

• Working towards ATT / CTA qualification or similar

• The ability to undertake analysis of complex tax problems, providing interpretation and making recommendations

• Experience in IHT, trusts, estates, CGT

• Strong team player able to work collaboratively
