The Company:

You will be joining a leading design and manufacture company providing fixtures to the aerospace industry.

The role:

The successful candidate will be identifying and developing new business opportunities across all manufacturing sectors to provide workholding solutions within these new territories and its markets.

Technical Field Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Developing sales strategies.
  • Maintain regular contact with your clients to strengthen relationships ensuring spend is maximised.
  • Create tenders and quotes for new business.
  • Present technical solutions that are relevant to your customer needs and to secure long term commitment from customers.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure projects are delivered within scope.
  • Deliver effective client presentations.
  • Contributing to sales strategies, pricing decisions and contract negotiations based on technical considerations.

The Candidate:

  • Experience working in Engineering Design and Workholding.
  • Formal qualifications in manufacturing engineering with experience in workholding or tooling as a related field.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings.
  • 5+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
  • Strong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts/drawings and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
