Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a respected multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Transport Planner with development planning experience to join their growing Nottingham team.
 
The Role
Working on high-profile projects across the Midlands and beyond, you'll take a leading role in producing high-quality deliverables and advising clients.
 
Responsibilities include:
·Preparing and reviewing transport assessments, travel plans, access strategies, and feasibility studies.
·Carrying out junction modelling and traffic impact assessments using software such as LinSig, Junctions, TEMPro, and TRICS.
·Leading elements of project delivery and liaising directly with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
·Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
·Contributing to bids and proposals to support business growth.
 
About You
·A degree in transport planning, geography, civil engineering, or similar.
·Experience in development planning within a consultancy or local authority.
·Proficiency in industry-standard transport planning/modelling software.
·Strong technical report-writing skills.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
·Working towards, or already holding, professional accreditation (CIHT, TPS, ICE).
