Job Title: Vehicle Polisher

Location: Nottingham

Hours: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 Saturdays (1-hour break)

Rate: 15.45 per hour

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Polisher in Nottingham. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring new painted panels are finished to the highest standards, removing scratches, correcting minor paintwork, and maintaining the overall factory-quality finish.

You will also support workshop efficiency by managing your time effectively, completing company documentation accurately, and following all procedures. Training new staff may also be required, so your expertise and willingness to support others will be key.

Responsibilities:

  • Polish new painted panels to remove dirt inclusions and match factory finish
  • Remove scratches and correct minor paintwork
  • Ensure all company documentation is completed accurately
  • Follow all company procedures
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain workshop efficiency
  • Support and train new staff when required

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to support junior technicians and share expertise
  • Passion for the motor industry and pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions when required
  • Excellent attention to detail
