KM Recruitment is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor based in Nottinghamshire with a salary of up to £35,000 depending on skills and experience.
The role requires candidates to have experience delivering Functional Skills in both Maths and English.
Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification and a Maths and/or English level 2 or equivalent.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions and providing ongoing support to learners in a classroom environment.
Candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their teaching methods and a passion for helping learners achieve their career aspirations.

Must have experience of delivering Functional Skills Maths AND English.
Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
Hold a Maths and/or English level 2 / equivalent.
Must have experience of delivering in-person training to small groups of learners.

Duties:

Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths within a classroom environment.
Utilise existing delivery resources, as well as preparing own when required.
Deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
Assist learners in identifying the skills required to progress towards their career aspirations.
The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
