Education Personnel are working with a large faith school in Nottingham who are recruiting a Head of PE from September 2025!
As Head of PE, you will be instrumental in shaping the physical development and healthy lifestyles of students. You will lead a dedicated team, further develop the engaging curriculum, and champion the importance of physical activity across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational leadership and management for the Physical Education department.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a broad, balanced, and inclusive PE curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Lead and mentor a team of PE teachers, supporting their professional development and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Manage the department's resources effectively and ensure the safe use of facilities and equipment.
- Organise and oversee a range of extracurricular sporting activities and competitions.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and parents to promote the holistic development of students.
- Uphold and promote the ethos and values of our faith school within the PE department and across the wider school community.
- Keep abreast of current developments in Physical Education and contribute to the school's ongoing improvement.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Is a qualified and experienced female PE teacher with a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
- Possesses proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff.
- Has a passion for promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and the benefits of sport for all.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Is committed to the values and ethos of a faith school and is able to positively contribute to its distinctive character.
- Has a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
