I'm currently working with a well-established business based in Bury St Edmunds who are looking to bring an Accounts Assistant into their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in finance who is keen to develop their career further in a supportive and professional environment.
The role will involve:
- Processing invoices and maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
- Assisting with reconciliations and month-end tasks
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts
- Handling supplier and customer queries
- General finance administration as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- A proactive and organised approach to work
