Agricultural Machinery Service Engineer

Basic Salary circa £35,000
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, plus optional Saturdays as overtime

Our client, a award winningAgricultural Main Dealer based in Warwickshire, is looking for a Technicianwho will be responsible for carrying out the correct service, maintenance, and repair of vehicles within company procedures and Health and Safety guidelines, both at the company premises and customers sites.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

Service and maintain plant and other agricultural machinery to the manufacturers specifications and to ensure machine reliability and safety.
Successfully diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain and various other faults prior to initiating and completing a repair.
Have a keen eye for detail, reporting machine defects and upselling the services provided by the company wherever possible.
Operate diagnostic software via a laptop computer when required (training will be given).
Complete a detailed report of work completed along with supporting photographs and documenting of all worked times.

To be successful as an Agricultural Machinery Service Engineer you will need knowledge and experience of a variety of machinery ideally in the agricultural, commercial vehicle or construction industry. Ideally with a relevant qualification within the field of Land Based Engineering. Full product training will be provided, you will also receive a laptop with the latest diagnostic software, mobile WIFI connection and a mobile phone to enable you to do your role.

Details & Benefits include:

Salary circa £35,000,depending on experience.
Monday toFriday 8am til 5pm
Overtime available especially during peak season.
24 days holiday allowance plus 8 bank holidays per year.
