What You Will Do:

- Operate CNC machines to manufacture tooling for composite components, including epoxy boards, carbon composite parts, and jigs and fixtures.

- Work with a variety of materials, such as aluminium, steel, and other metals, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

- Set up components efficiently, using holding and turnover fixtures or plates, while ensuring optimal machine performance and cycle times.

- Measure tooling and components accurately using micrometers, verniers, and other precision tools.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, performing preventative maintenance on CNC machines and ensuring maximum efficiency.

- Collaborate with the CNC Team Leader to align on priorities, materials, and support needed to achieve project timelines.

What You Will Bring:

- Expertise in operating CNC machines with Heidenhain, Siemens, or Mazatrol controllers.

- Strong understanding of machining technology and the ability to work to tight tolerances.

- Experience in a manufacturing machining environment, with a focus on bespoke projects rather than production work.

- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.

- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings to aid the manufacturing process.
