Job Title: CNC Machinist
Shifts: Double Day Shifts

Monday-Thursday- 6am-2:30pm Friday- 6am-11am

Monday-Thursday- 2:15pm-10:45pm Friday- 10:45am- 3:45pm
Location: Nuneaton
Pay Rate: £35,000 £38,648 per annum + 12.5% shift allowance

The Company:
A Nuneaton-based engineering company specialising in CNC machining for the composite manufacturing sector. This business supports bespoke projects for industries requiring precision tooling and high-quality composite components, jigs, and fixtures. Known for technical excellence and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC machining of tooling for composite components using epoxy boards, carbon composite parts, and a variety of metals including aluminium and steel.

Optimise machine operating practices by applying correct feeds, speeds, and best programming methods.

Ensure cycle times align with quoted job times and run left/right-hand parts simultaneously when needed.

Set up complex components using holding and turnover fixtures or plates efficiently.

Accurately measure components and tooling using micrometers, verniers, and other gauges.

Coordinate with CNC Team Leader to secure required parts and materials to meet deadlines.

Maintain clean and safe working areas and perform preventative machine maintenance.

The Candidate

Fully trained on CNC machines using Heidenhain, Siemens, and Mazatrol control.

Excellent understanding in setting machines and working to tight tolerances.

Time-served machinist background would be an advantage.

Ability to read technical drawings is advantageous.

Abilit to work well under pressure.
