We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machining processes and be able to translate engineering drawings into precise machine instructions. Responsibilities
- Creating, editing and proving CNC programmes
- Setting and operating CNC Milling machines
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components using CNC mills.
- Utilise CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to create and modify programmes as required.
- Conduct tooling selection and setup, ensuring the correct tools are used for each job.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all safety protocols related to materials handling and equipment use.
Experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with CAD software; experience with SolidWorks is highly desirable.
- Competence in basic maths for precise measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Experience in using hand tools and materials handling within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
