Salary: Up to 16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday (Apply online only) or 4 day week (Apply online only)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join my customers team in Nuneaton team. As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for the setting up and operating of computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines to produce high-quality precision components.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to set up CNC milling machines
• Select and set cutting tools, feeds, and speeds
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
• Inspect and measure finished components using precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations as they arise
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator Preferably with experience on 3+2 axis knowledge.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Solid understanding of CNC milling machine operations and tooling
• Understanding of Fanuc controls and Doosan VMS advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred
• Set up CNC milling machines according to job specifications
• Load materials and tools into the machine
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
• Measure and inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records
