Job Summary:

Opus People Solutions on behalf of Vertas are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will support our catering operations by ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.

Set up and break down dining and serving areas for events and meals.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas.

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance.

Support the catering team during events, ensuring smooth service.

Help with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

Health and Safety certificate

Previous experience in catering, food service, or a related field is a plus.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety practices.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
