Head of Private Client Department

Location: Nuneaton (Hybrid Working Available)Work pattern: Monday to Friday

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000PQE: 7+ years

Your Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Private Client department across wills, probate, powers of attorney, inheritance tax planning and trustsMentor and support a team of legal professionals, including junior solicitors and support staffContribute to business development and promote the department both internally and externallyOversee complex matters and maintain strong relationships with new and long-standing clientsEnsure consistent delivery of high-quality legal services while meeting departmental targets

What We’re Looking For:? 7+ years PQE in private client law? Experience handling a broad range of matters including wills, probate, LPAs, inheritance tax and trusts? People management experience or demonstrable leadership qualities? Excellent client communication and a calm, empathetic approach? STEP qualification (preferred but not essential)? A track record of meeting/exceeding fee targets and fostering positive team culture
