Job Title: Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing (Timber Frame)
Location: Nuneaton
Project Size: Large development - 1000+ homes being delivered to the area. Circa 470 by my client
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a flagship timber frame volume housing development in Nuneaton. The role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to secure a long-term position with a leading housebuilder.
Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations.
- Coordinate and supervise trades to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Monitor health & safety on site and ensure compliance at all times.
- Assist with snagging, inspections, and site handovers.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within new build housing.
- Knowledge of timber frame construction preferred.
- Valid SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid at Work, and CSCS certifications.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ambitious, proactive, and looking to progress within a large housing scheme.
