Are you a calm, committed and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference?
Long Term Futures are supporting a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton who are seeking a compassionate TA to work 1:1 with a Year 5 pupil with ASD and ADHD. This is a long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and behaviour-related needs
* Confidence using consistent behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
* Ability to follow EHCP targets and contribute to progress reviews
* A collaborative approach when working with teachers, the SENCO and pastoral team
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective SEN interventions
