Duties of the Service Advisor:

Attending to customers during vehicle drop-off and collection, ensuring a seamless experience
Accurately recording customer requirements and relaying them to the workshop team
Keeping customers informed of vehicle progress throughout the service process
Costing and obtaining permission for any additional repairs or work needed
Preparing and presenting customer invoices and related paperwork
Explaining the work undertaken clearly and professionally
Promoting service products such as service plans and extended warranties

Candidate Specification:

Experience in the motor trade is highly desirable
IT literate with good organisational skills
Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
Ability to upsell and promote additional products and services
Confident in managing customer appointments and providing outstanding service
Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
Knowledge of CDK or Kerridge dealership management systems is advantageous
