Were looking for a passionate, experienced Grounds Staff to help maintain and enhance their 59 acres of exceptional playing fields.
The Sports Turf Grounds Person will be part of a skilled, supportive team maintaining pitches and sports facilities across three premium sites, used year-round by one of the UKs leading independent schools.

Key responsibilities of the Sports Turf Grounds Person:
- Mowing, fertilising, aerating, and maintaining sports pitches
- Repairing and maintaining both natural and artificial turf surfaces
- Marking out pitches for seasonal sports
- Ensuring surfaces are safe, presentable, and ready for play
- Operating and maintaining a range of turf care machinery
About you:
- Previous experience in sports turf maintenance
- Confident in using grounds machinery and equipment
- Positive, proactive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- NVQ Level 2 Sports Turf or equivalent qualification (desirable)
- PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates (desirable)
Location: Uppingham, Rutland
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent, full-time
