As their business continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and dedicated Vehicle Fitter to join the skilled assembly and testing team.

?? About the Role

As a Vehicle Fitter, you will be an essential part of the team responsible for assembling our state-of-the-art self-propelled vehicles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Mechanical assembly of vehicle and chassis components

  • Installation of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems

  • Confident use of hand, power, and air tools

  • Testing of complete machines to ensure top-quality performance

  • Adapting to unique customer specifications and machine configurations

  • Working with diesel engines and hydrostatic transmissions (knowledge desirable)

?? About You

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and pays close attention to detail. You'll need:

  • Previous mechanical or assembly experience (essential)

  • Electrical knowledge (preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good timekeeping and reliability

  • Ability to follow instructions and work to high standards

  • Basic personal tool kit (e.g. spanners, screwdrivers - specialist tools are provided)

  • Forklift and overhead crane experience (training can be provided)
