Electrical Design Engineer
Anderselite are looking to recruit an electrical design engineer for a privately owned turnkey specialist design and build company. Our client have a strong client base with the option to work out of Manchester or based in the North West.
The projects they undertake are in the Pharmaceutical sector, experience in this sector could be highly advantageous although good design experience on commercial projects will be considered.
Role & Duties
• Managing power generation, transmission and distribution
• Working with high and low voltage equipment
• Designing systems and products using autocad, amtech, relux/dialux
• Drawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment
• Testing installations and systems
• Ensuring projects meet safety regulations
• Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmes
• Liaising with clients
Candidate
•Candidates need to be happy doing the actual design – working with a senior designer and package manager in Mech & Elec teams
•Experience in an Electrical design role (Power Distribution, Lighting Design, Access Controls, Fire Alarm Systems)
•Knowledge of Amtech software desirable
•Degree in electrical design engineering or similar – desirable
