The Role

We are currently seeking additional Care Workers for work within two partner Special Educational Needs schools.

The role requires you to work with school aged pupils with Special Needs ranging from ASC, PMLD, Complex needs, Mobility, SEMH, and includes personal care as well as supporting with behaviours that may challenge.

The School

This SEND school is based in the North Bristol area, having access to a vehicle would be advantageous. We are continually seeking enthusiastic, caring staff members to join school on a full time permanent basis. 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 08:30 -15:30.

Requirements

To be considered for the Care Worker (Special School Setting), you will:

  • Have previous experience of working with children or young people, or vulnerable adults 
  • We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles
  • Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
  • Undergo an interview process with Vision for Education before attending a trial and interview at school. If offered a position you will then be able to commence work on a full time, contracted basis, subject to references and notice period.
