Certification Engineer responsibilities include -
- Reading and interpreting national, international, and customer specifications and standards.
- Checking and approving incoming raw material and fastener certifications, including EN (phone number removed).1 certificates, across multiple material grades.
- Compiling certification packs.
- Liaising directly with suppliers and customers to resolve queries.
- Scanning and filing chemistry, heat treatment, and plating reports.
Certification Engineer desirable skills and experience -
- Engineering graduate or previous experience working with technical documents and specifications.
- Experience with fasteners and other metallic components is highly beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarity with EN (phone number removed).1 certification for fully traceable, high-integrity components.
- Basic understanding of chemistry, heat treatment processes, mechanical/metallurgical/NDT test methods.
