We’re currently recruiting for a British designer and manufacturer of innovative workspace solutions for commercial interiors.  They’re looking for a Finance Manager to come in on a 12 month fixed contract.
With this role you’ll be supporting to the General Manager and site Director, you will provide effective financial and commercial support and play a key role in improving finance and business processes. You will ensure the daily & weekly finance and reporting activities are performed, as well as feeding into the Group monthly reporting process.
Key Activities
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
- Management accounting: In particular accounting and controls over inventory and cost of goods sold. Also monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
- Whole of Business Unit Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning (e.g. 3 year plans).
- Leading the analysis of monthly financial results, presenting findings to the GM and Leadership Team, and leading business performance improvement activities.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Management accounting experience required.
- Syteline (or other complex ERP system knowledge, in a manufacturing environment)
- Computer literate - with good knowledge of all Microsoft applications
- Strong communication (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail, organised and results orientated
- Drive and ambition with a can-do attitude
Package
- Excellent base salary which is negotiable for the right person
- Hours: 08:30 – 17:00
