Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bradbury Machine Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cold rollforming equipment, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality materials. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical skills, making it essential for candidates to possess a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with various tools and technologies.
Duties
- Operate machines to produce components according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow in the production environment.
- Set, load and feed coils
- Install equipment such as guides, guards, gears, cooling equipment, and rolls, using hand tools.
- Manipulate controls, observe, monitor and adjust, to set speed for optimum machine performance.
- Ensure oil is at right level, adjust valves, and observe gauges to control flow of metal coolants and lubricants
- Maintain accurate records of production output and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating cold Rollforming machines.
- Operation of Bradbury machines advantageous but not essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Familiarity with materials handling processes within a warehouse setting.
- Competence in using hand tools effectively and safely.
The company operates on a static shift basis. Fixed AM, PM or night shift.
