Quality Technician

Salary: up to £33,000

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing facility. If you have experience in quality management, materials testing, and problem-solving, this is your chance to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in a large manufacturing facility
Conduct materials testing and understand metallurgy of mild steel and stainless steel (advantageous)
Support automotive supply processes, including PPAP (desirable)
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proactively resolve quality issues
Supervise and mentor junior technicians while fostering a team-oriented environment
Analyze problems and provide innovative solutions to improve processes
Communicate effectively with teams, customers, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies

Skills & Experience:

Experience in a Quality Department within a large manufacturing facility
Knowledge of QMS and materials testing (steel and stainless steel)
Familiarity with PPAP and automotive supply (desirable)
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
Ability to adapt quickly and continuously improve
Computer literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A current driving license is required
