We are currently recruiting for a Wide Slitter Setter Operator for our client based in the Oldbury area. Leading to a permanent role after a successful trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate wide slitters to precise specifications.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Wide Slitter Setter or similar role.
- Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Hours of work:
- Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm.
- Friday 8am - 12pm.
Rate of Pay:
- £14 - £14.50 per hour based on experience.
