SEND Teacher - Oldbury

Academics are looking for an experienced Teacher who can cover at a special school based in Oldbury on a FULL TIME basis. This school is a maintained Special School for children with severe, profound, and complex learning difficulties and medical needs. The role would be starting immediately after May half term 2025 until the end of the academic year.

You will have 3 Teaching Assistants in classroom to support you and the class sizes are made up of 8/9 children.

The successful Teacher will:

  • Hold QTS status and eligibility to work in the UK
  • Have EYFS/KS1 curriculum knowledge tailored to SEN children
  • Be able to adapt planning to individual needs
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be flexible around the school working routine
  • Utilise resources effectively
  • Be of patient and calm nature

Academics requires all Teachers to have a fully enhanced DBS check, minimum of two references plus a face to face interview.
