Financial Controller | Paying up to £80k | 5 days on site | Qualified | Route to FD in the next 6 months

An established and growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting directly to the MD, this role will take ownership of financial reporting and cash flow management.You will also lead a small, focused finance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate management accounts within agreed timelines

  • Oversee month-end processes and financial stock reporting

  • Manage cash flow, including payment monitoring and foreign currency management

  • Ensure statutory compliance and maintain relationships with external auditors

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve performance targets

  • Present financial data to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

  • Build strong internal and external relationships, providing financial insights to support decision-making

Skills and Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or equivalent)

  • Proven experience managing a small finance team

  • Strong knowledge of management accounts, cash flow management, and statutory compliance

  • Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work proactively and manage multiple priorities

  • Manufacturing background
