Our client is seeking an experienced Designer to join their design team. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional with a strong background in industrial roofing design, who can deliver accurate, compliant, and buildable solutions.
The Role
As a Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed design drawings for a wide range of industrial roofing and cladding projects. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed industrial roofing and cladding design drawings
Interpret architectural and structural information
Design solutions for large-scale industrial and commercial buildings
Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards
Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
Assist with design development and value engineering
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in industrial roofing design (essential)
Strong knowledge of industrial roofing systems, materials, and fixings
Proficiency in CAD or similar design software
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
